A residential quater surrounded by greenery –
vibrant city life in the making

Once wide meadows used to lure Berliners here beyond the city gates for rest and recuperation. Later on, shortly before the rural community of Boxhagen became part of Berlin, the area increasingly turned into a traditional commercial district. Today, following extensive planning, what is emerging here is a new, diverse residential quarter around a large public urban park.

A new Favourite place in a great location

In the middle of the sought-after ‘Travekiez’ neighbourhood, not far from the great hustle and bustle of Friedrichshain and yet quietly located, the BOX SEVEN residential quarter is extremely well connected to Berlin’s public transport network.
Ostkreuz station on the Ring line can be reached on foot in five to ten minutes and Frankfurter Allee underground station is also not far away. One bus service and two tram lines stop right on the doorstep.

Live and let live – here everyone has the freedom to do whatever they enjoy.

Young, dynamic, creative –
a happening place

Friedrichshain – a joint city district with Kreuzberg – is one of Berlin’s most stimulating and creative areas. With its diverse cultural scene and nightlife, it attracts especially young people. The alternative crowd meet in the many clubs and art galleries, at the open-air cinema on the RAW site and at concerts in the Astra Kulturhaus or mingle into the colourful hustle and bustle on the Oberbaum Bridge, where the OpenAirGallery takes place each May. Be it music, sport, art and culture or simply relaxing together in a beer garden – the range of leisure activities for young and old is huge.

Woods, water, wide open spaces – new shores ahead

Awaiting you in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg are exceptionally beautiful spots along the banks of the Spree. Rummelsburger Bucht is an inviting lake for going boating or taking a walk along the waterfront promenade. The banks of the Spree are a nice place to while away the time as well – in the summer ideally in one of the beach bars watching the riverboats pass by. Relax under the shade of trees on the lawns of Stralau peninsula or Treptower Park. Or take a regional train from Ostkreuz and travel for instance to beautiful Uckermark – the countryside around Berlin has fantastic places on offer and is very close at hand.
